Phal. violacea

This is my first bloom from a 5 plant flask purchased in 2006 from Orchidview.

Pictured is Phal. violacea 'Boden's Blue' x Orchidview 'Gulfstream Blue' JC/AOS.  Currently it has one open bloom and one bud.  Such a delightful fragrance.  When I first smelled it, I could taste the fireballs from the intensity of the cinnamon.  T. was surprised at the fragrance, it was a new one for him, too.

A sibling from the same flask is developing its first spike.  The siblings were all smaller and planted 2 per pot.  One posted article indicated that the smaller plants' blooms were probably bluer .

Blue parents, is the result coerulea or magenta?  Either way, the fragrance is a time machine.
